A sterling silver pendant set with an 8 mm (approx. 1/3 inch) lab created Blue Sapphire with a wonderful color. This means it is chemically the same thing as the natural stone, but simply man made. We will never use mined blue sapphires; they destroy habitats for lemurs, and a great ethical/environmental choice.
